every now and again, we do a stockpicking contest. I have been waiting for a tradeable bottom to start a new one. I'm going to keep the time span pretty short since I don't see any bear market rally lasting more than 3 months or so (not even including the options ramps that we see every month).

that things always look cheap and always get cheaper.

I agree with you....but IMO there are a few stocks that seem to be undervalued right now.

Most of the people who post on this board as well as other boards on SI are involved with short term trading. ***But*** IMO there are quite a few people who still are LTBH in their stock positions and thinking...and when they "feel" that they see good value, they buy despite TA, or the market mood.

If you have money to invest, and you don't want to invest overseas, buy gold, or put money under your mattress....the stock market at certain levels starts to seem attractive to some potential investors. IMO the selling in a few stocks has been overdone.
