Energy COTs show Commercials

made only minor adjustments for the reporting week ended Tuesday. They continue moderately net short crude and moderately net long NG.

Unless there's a major break in the heat wave, mid to upper 2s should provide good support on the NG charts.

Iso,

With the high VIX and SPX COTs getting less short, I was wondering if we could get an April 2001 scenario, with both stocks and gold going up at the same time.

The one thing that worries me about gold is that the USD could be forming an inverse H&S.

Art Cashin just slammed the government for revising the GDP data. Said now you can't trust anyone. LOL.

The most interesting thing about the data revisions was that Q2 2001 was the worst quarter by far - so much for the notion that the economy would have been fine without the terrorist attacks.

Here's betting that Q2 2002 will be a negative number by the time they're done 'revising' that one.
