Maybe Sprint is getting close. howardforums.com <snip> Circuit City associates have received word that all stores with sprint coverage are receiving the following five phone models, SCP-4900, SCHN400SIL, LG 5350, Merlin C201 (PC Card), and SCH-A500. These phones support 3G data. We also are told that the phones will not completely work until 8/8/02. Thats right.... Thursday, August 8, Sprint's 3G network will be active. These 3G phones are expected to be in high demand, and Circuit City is pushing to get a large quantity in stores by this date. <snip> yea thats right as of tomorrow some selected circuit cities will have 4900 for $$99.99!!! You need to catch this special prices in time. They already have leather cases out on the floor. <snip>
