Exceptionally informative post --

It seems that either 1) BA R&D, and others, have stumbled upon something inexplicable that warrants follow-up investigation, or 2) they are wondering around the Twilight Zone.

I am not a physicist, and make no pretense of familiarity with anti-gravity, but -- "anti-gravity" may not accurately describes what R&D is investigated. Jocular criticism may be an unfair, particularly if based upon a false assumption that "anti-gravity" is in fact anti-gravity in a Newtonian sense.

Certainly, there could be an analogy between this and mass hysteria (tulip sales) of old, but as one long on BA, I hope they’re onto something and not just fooling around at stockholder and tax-payer expense. I am hesitant to assume that R&D personnel are all ignorant buffoons however, noting a universality of unfriendly receptions to every scientific breakthrough since Adam.

Thanks again for the interesting references. I have added them to my reading list.
