It's funny that an investment strategy falls to ridicule, just when it is probably the best strategy. At the top, folks were almost unanimous that the best way to make money in the market was to buy and hold, and that trading would just hurt your returns. Now, with stocks relatively cheap, a long term buy and hold strategy probably makes the best sense, it is ridiculed. It seems that W.B., the ultimate value B&H player, is even buying.

Human nature to look back rather than forward.

PS BTW, I do both, LTB&H and trade. And you don't know how much cash I have generated selling calls on my Intel stock.
