Well - isn't diversification about winning less and loosing less? And somehow I admire Paul Allens attempt to earn money on Transmeta. It's a good idea and a cool product, also if the money wasn't invested well. I guess Paul just didn't understand that developing cool products isn't always that good business.

Paul proved that he could invest in a zillion companies that all collapsed much worse than MSFT. Bummer for him. Bill sold MSFT stock so he could give money to the world's poor and needy. Bravo.

Anyway, glad to see this board thriving. I was out of town for a few days.
