John re: You seem to be suggesting that Intel is guilty of accounting fraud. on the contrary, whatever intel was doing up to this point was considered acceptable. Even though that many, including myself, thought it was somewhat misleading. New standards would require Intel to disclose some of the assumptions and if Intel would not comply that would be breaking the law. The article indicates that Intel argues that their assumptions would confuse people......... :-)) -Albert
