RE:"I was out for the past week in NYC meeting my girlfriend's parents"

So, how did you make out with the future inlaws?

Unfortunately, I sat on NVDA over the vacation. Boy do I feel like a "Gaylord Fokker," if you know what I mean.

I'm considering making a break for it, but I see NVDA is already traveling sideways for the most part. Maybe I can make up part of my loss with the volatility, but I guess it's time I jump ship and never look back.

Reminds me of my LU stock, now reduced in value so far that it's pointless to sell. Luckily LU wasn't a significant part of my portfolio when I bought at 10. It's really insignificant now.

Tenchusatsu, I had hoped that you had sold. The take away for you and for most of us is that you need to sell when a stock drops below a certain point.....if not after 8%; at least some where close to its 50 DMA. And then stick that discipline........that way you cut down your losses.

You haven't ask but at this point, I would hold NVDA if you don't need the money. I suspect it will come back in the next year or two.

But with LU, I would sell as soon as possible and put the money some place else. LU has a very good chance of going bankrupt as do many of the fiber optics/opticals except for JDSU and maybe GLW.
