Nah...A lot of the companies didn't exist other than the BROKER loans that were paid off the minute the stock started trading....Once the brokers sold their over allotment junk...then there is no reason to support the stock price...so just back away and let people sell on to everybody else.....

The brokers knew what they were doing...They opened the flying pork chops on first day of issue wherever they wanted to...traded amongst themselves until some sucker came along...and then...BAM!!!

We used to 'bait the hole' when i was a little kid with wheaties and chicken mash...put some molases on it...and the carp always came around ... the fish were so big i couldn't even pull them in as a kid...

You gotta' remember that they used to rape the market with soes...(maybe not as easy to do it any more)...on first day JACK around the stock price...
