Yeah, well, as I pointed out in Message 17823360 , the Hashemite restoration thing was pretty ironic with respect to recent history and the Jordanian monarch, if not bizarre on the face of it. I don't know why, exactly, the Israelis have it in for King Abdullah now, I thought he had his troops all massed on the Saudi border. Maybe he unmassed them, the little wimp. Of course, irony is dead among the faithful, it being one of those postmodern things and all, and bizarreness , well, there was always the Chinese Muslim army marching down the Old Silk Road.
