When even sweet Doribee becomes a smart aleck, I know I'm blowing it. Usually the best advice: when in doubt, go with Zeev's call. He's consistently defined the market better than I since February, though I was closer in defining the recent bottom. (I said 1250 and he aimed for 1290). The only immediate risk to the downside, per the revised Gottfried chart I just posted, brings us to 1125 and 1070 suport areas. Compare that to the 1555 upside potential and the risk/reward supports his call: ttrader.com But here's the MAJOR caution: admittedly, I'm fundamentally spooked by the 8/6 and 8/9 anniversaries of Hiroshima/Nagasaki as potential terror target dates. That could change things quickly and makes 960 an immediate risk. I still advise that the safest play is cash at the close of 8/5. More important: I advise everyone to take time tween now and then to visit/phone loved ones and remind them how much you love them. We can never be sure in these uncertain times. And I hope and pray for the safety of all, because my premonitions about this are so strong that I honestly believe that Higher Powers guided me into the market to begin with, solely so I could warn folks of this. I know that's a heavy trip to lay on everyone. But when that came to me last week, it was like a light went on, and I was reduced to tears. And awe. I ask: is it better to outguess to have a day of monetary profit, or is it better to bundle up the loved ones and take a trip to the mountains Monday night, getting out of major metropolitan areas for Tuesday? I know my answer. And I'd rather be wrong and be viewed as a kook than have my premonitions materialize. But I hafta speak what I feel to my core. And it never hurts, at the very least, to say: I love you, to all your loved ones. My wishes for the safety of all; -Kevin
