Aw shucks, no fun. You came close, so here it is: Dent the side of the can on a rock, log, or your knee. Throw the can into the fire. Wait until the dent pops out. Take the can out of the fire (use gloves), dent the can a second time and throw it back in the fire. When the second dent pops out, the can is heated to eating temperature. Perfection! Never fails.
