Look, I'm not saying I have a big clue where or what will happen. It could mean they'll take down the House of Saud and leave us be.

Strategically, I've determined in the past that factors in determining targets are likely to be:

1) military command centers
2) population centers
3) commerce centers/ symbolic of US capitalism
4) high concentrations of Jewish residents
5) government centers
6) areas with many defense industries
7) areas with seaports that accept large container boxes

So based on that, I figured the cities most at risk to be NYC WashDC Tampa LA and Seattle, followed by state capitals, Houston and SF.

But who knows? Striking less visible targets in the heartland still sends a message and causes great pain.

I live in Portland, OR. but the 'where' is irrelevant, imo. I wouldn't have posted that if it was simply fear-based, because I'm generally quite good about dealing with fear quietly, on my own. But this summer, three times I've been compelled to warn of the risks: Memorial Day, Fourth of July and now.

Each time, I weighed whether to speak at all. And of course, using the better-safe-than-sorry rule, I spoke up.

This time feels different.

When it hit my mind, there was a whole mix of emotions and light. So much so that - even though I could use a good win and think silver is the place to be, I'll stay in cash, simply because I'm not comfortable with profiting from misery.

I'd rather be the resident kook than to not disclose what occurred to me midweek last.

This whole terror thing seems, at times, to be an oversold hype. I mean, I know our govt has done some rotten things in the world and continues to. As taxpayers and citizens supporting our govt, no adult can claim our hands are 100% spotless. Yet I weigh that against the good we do and the advances in human freedoms we've accomplished, and weigh it against other governments, and I know that I'm mostly proud of the USA, on balance.

Further, I know the acts of OBL, Al Qaida and Hezbollah to be pure and unmitigated evil. There are sane ways to correct the sins of our government.

I want them rooted out and destroyed, period. But I pray for the safety of all others, including the ordinary citizens of Palestine, Afghanistan, Israel or wherever.

And as regards my warning, I hope, more than anything else, that I'm 100% wrong.

But I think I'm right.

Stay safe;

-Kevin
