Cisco Systems, whose shares sank nearly 9 percent Thursday on rumors that CEO John Chambers might resign rather than sign LOL, will interesting to see how Johnny "Homerun" Chambers does in the big game tomorrow afternoon. Let's see, they've already juiced the ball, lowered the mound, corked his bat and bought the ump - and the home-town crowd is still nervous - maybe a laser pointer in the pitcher's eyes, yeah that'll do it. -VBG-
Beating this metaphor to death, I seriously do think the game is rigged so the Johnny's of the St. will never be seen striking out, at least in public. Those at bats will only occur inside of closed board room doors and they won't be televised. I think the worst that happens tomorrow is an intentional walk (i.e. he hedges on visibility and isn't grilled on it). Ah, the Great American Pastime, ain't it grand!
