Many were wrong, but the guy I quote is a Fed Bank Official and a bit more connected and conservative.

I just can't see a double dip with interest rates remaining low and the consumer spending still OK, along with low inflation. Also, the manufacturing index is holding nicely above 50 indicating expansion.

I just don't see it.

There's a time to be a contrarian but this isn't it. All the important economic indicators are trending in the right direction and we've never had a recession when interest rates and inflation were anywhere close to this low.
