HP hunts down INQUIRER moles

Jim Burton reckons he's got them all

By INQUIRER staff: Monday 05 August 2002, 13:38

JIM BURTON – HP MOLEHUNTER EXTRAORDINAIRE -- RECKONS he's found every partner on its competitive list, according to this cryptic message below.

We wish we understood what he was talking about, though. See if you do, and read on... µ

We found your moles on the partner competitive list and eliminated them. You won't be receiving any more competitive information through that list.

"... thinks the computer hardware industry is starting to show early signs of maturation."

I guess he'll be looking for new employment, then?

That reminds me of the conclusion 50 +/- years ago that the marketplace for computers could be satisfied with a handful of machines.
