While I don't agree with everything in that article, it certainly seemed inappropriate to me at the time that he apparently wasn't allowed to turn himself in, but needed to be paraded for the cameras in handcuffs.

Stephen O, I see that one of your interests is Canadian politics. Stick to that. You are out of your league.

The Canadian army was in Afghanistan, and they didn't have any more success finding Osama than anyone else. If one of your criminals decided to hide out in the Yukon, it is doubtful that the Mounties could find him either.
