John, Thanks for the condensed summary of Phebe Marr's testimony before Congress. Ms. Marr's knowledge of Iraq is truly impressive, and I agree with your assessment that she presents herself as a credible expert without a political agenda. Given the current administration's hesitancy for any form of nation building and the poor reconstruction effort in Afghanistan, I am beginning to wonder if ominous signs for the future of a post-Saddam Iraq are foreboding if we elect to invade.
