Re: No bubble here. no sir ree...

LOL!!

How much more if they include the appliances and window treatments?

Well, now that you've proven there's nothing to worry about in real estate pricing...

From the picture, it looks like the teardown job on the lot may already have been torn down, probably upping the asking price by $500k or so. But look what just sold for a cool $22meg next door:

91 Isabella Ave Jul 00 $22,000,000 6/6.5/17 $6,600,000 ( from domania.homestore.com , the "check Home Values in this area" link).

Location, location, location, as they say. Even in Silicon Valley, you can probably still put up a nice 6 bedroom 6.5 bath McMansion for $2meg. It's a bargain!

Ref < Isabella Ave, Atherton 1 bedroom 1 bath house listing for 20+ million >

You are not paying for the tiny house, but THE LAND that goes with it.

The listing does not show the lot size. The photograph shows that it is large enough to be sub-divided into several building sites.

This lot is also close enough to El Camino Real, that it may already have been rezoned for commercial usage.

During the boom several very popular restaurants, and several retail stores were forced to shut down, because the landlords demolished the buildings and put up commercial office buildings. Now all those commercial office spaces are vacant. Miles and miles of vacant office buildings now dot Silicon Valley.

"No bubble here. no sir ree..."
What do you think, the Funnie Gay wants to finance that lot too?
;-);-) ;-)
The following must be a misprint, unless the lot covers
half of the Cat Mountain Hill:

Poor Mikey lost almost $2M on the value of his homestead...
End of the bubble? <g>
However, he is doing well on other 24 lots he owns...
