Poetic justice for her lawyers!

Though I guess they didn't get her off in the first theft.

I read a book about a guy from Texas who snuck up on two teenagers on a lovers' lane and murdered both. He got the death penalty and was sitting on death row when Texas temporarily repealed capital punishment, so he was off the hook. Then a few years later he had to be released under mandatory time-serving laws. He was hardly out when he went on another extended killing spree, and murdered six or so strangers. By the time he was caught, the DP was back in, and given his second chance he did get executed.

The moral of the story is that our justice system really does work, eventually, and making sure we get it right only costs us the small price of the litter of some additional bodies and dozens of more bereaved family members
