Hi Karen, I'm finally getting back to you on that article on extropianism and transhumanism. They both seem so peculiarly twenty-first century American, don't you think? Our belief in the religiosity of science, coupled with our hubris that of course living longer would be better for the planet, for history, makes me gag a bit. I'm looking forward to a nice 80 to 85 years, then kicking the bucket as a somewhat doddering old lady beloved by my grandchildren for my chocolate chip cookies and funny stories about growing up in the twentieth century.
