Yes, the buy signal on gold and the gold stocks appears a bit shaky at this point. The hourly XAU chart went to a sell signal at 11am yesterday, and is currently attempting to hold on to some rising trend line support.... And I see that gold is struggling a bit today also.
On the other hand, a rally in the stock market to near Dow 9300 appears to be solidly in place now, as the shorts run for cover. I may consider going short or adding puts again once we break through Dow 9000, but will have to look at it more closely if and when it happens.
