Dollar hit its low at 10 am. It went from 106.64 then to 107.27 at the close and is now at 107.4..... or about 3/4 of a point since the low.

If that holds by morning, we could gap up 30 points.

The key (I pray to avoid it) may be whether we avoid outside-of-the-market events by then.

But since the DJIA stopped far short of its bottom, will it retest? All indicators say yes, except one. I suspect the SOX has found some support at 280. If not, look for NASDy support at 1125 or 1070 and DJIA at 7200 or 6900.

A terrorist event or market panic could take us to 1020, 990, or more likely near 960 on NASDy and 6650 on the Dow.
