Hoover is starting to look good, compared with Bush. Latin American economies are crashing, the Treasury Secretary makes it worse with stupid offhand remarks. Bush decides the cure for all this is a month's vacation, Cheney is still incommunicado in the bunker, Pitt wants to be elevated to Commissioner/Saint, but, can't get out of his own way...

We want to invade Iraq, but, can't get ANYBODY to go along with the idea because the mess Bush has allowed to develop in the Middle East will ignite if we do. Markets cracking all over the world.

Are we on the brink of a world depression? Is this pathetic, ignorant, mindless little man even remotely up to dealing with that sort of crisis?

There is no question that the Shrub administration will go down in history as the most inept since Hoover and probably since Grant.

It would all be funny if Bush/Cheney weren't taking everybody else with them down the tubes.

The scenario is starting to look more and more like Japan a decade ago, with inept leadership frozen by events, markets cracking and no ability to look past their own rigid, unworkable agenda.

God Help America!!!
