Shakes the very foundation of the church. Re: the death penalty..... common ground here, but not so on a woman's right to choose. Also the church, I think, is not in favor of genetic and embryonic experimentation, and may also be against DNA mapping. Re: Science......was Gallileo just "pardoned" a few years ago after centuries of being declared a heretic for teaching that the sun is the center of the solar system and not the earth?
