King? Its my first time to be a king! I remember the new economy argument from its inception and I am familiar with the foundations that preceded it. I did and do admire the thinking. But the stock speculation that followed as if it was somehow connected -- there is no connection. It was a hijacking. AG called it irrational exuberance -- he might as well have called it a hijacking. He new exactly what was going on and he was right.
