I don't happen to believe in choice
we might have it, but I don't "believe" we do
I'm enough of an agnostic not to believe that firmly
but I suspect people do what they are going to do, based upon the infinite series of choice states that came before.

I think it appears to us that we have free choice, and that appearance probably also is part of the infinite series of choice states that sets us up for the next move, that set me up to write this post, that set me up to get up from the computer after this post, and so on and so on and so on.

Not that it matters much- unless you allow that idea to make you inert, which I suppose it could, but that again would just be determined by everything that went before.....
