You are completely off-base in your derision of those of us who would protect important tourist areas from unscrupulous developers of heavy industrial projects that are unnecessary and inappropriate. Here in my home county, our Republican County Commissioners have voted down an objectionable power plant development citing the need to preserve and protect important resources from the rape & pillage crowd you seemingly so admire.

Hypocrites is right. Just like the Gollywood crowd and their pristine Malibu retreats. The little people are only good enough to clean them, but keep them off of the beach. They spoil the view.

What many here don't seem to understand is that the elite left used to be called the Aristocracy.

I like Ann's book. I think I will continue to post her most poignant passages here.
