With all the BS that is going on in Europe I think that the US will not grow as expected and lowering interest rates will only bring back inflation. Stock market may take time to recover and stock losses and interest charges on corporations will lower US tax revenue which will increase the US budget deficit.

IMHO there are at least 50 million house holds who will claim $3000 credit on stock losses for a while, this adds up to serious money. Spending will also start to shrink IMHO as the whole world is in contraction.

This increases the chances of a war in the ME ........ which will be the sooner the better
