As they say about a bear rally - "Better than the real thing". 5 day wonder? No targets set for this - just watching the tape.

Good morning. Well, it looks like we can have little head-fakes down as well as up. Friday/Monday action certainly fooled me into thinking we were in for an immediate retest of the 7550 level on the Dow. Wake up this morning and we're in Dow Curbs land again, but up. Nice closes today on the indices and we could be ready to continue the August climb to 9600 and Naz 1725. Wouldn't that be a nice reward for those who have been out to the woodshed so many times?

Dabum,

What makes you think todays rally was (will be) a short one.

I would tend to agree that this is not "it" yet. "It" meaning the long awaited intermediate rally, but you would think that the NAZ and SOX might at least run to the 10-DMA.

Wow, looking now the indexes are noticeably weakening into the close - looks like you nailed it.

CSCO carrying the weight of the markets tomorrow.
