I do have that applet. Etrade just told me to not even try Netscape because it won't work with MT on Windows 98 - wish they mentioned that last week to me - that is why it kept crashing. They just tried a test where you check the port - my dsl company insisted that all their ports remain open - they claim they don't close ports. Etrade insists that this test should run if this port is open and it doesn't. I have another call into the dsl guy (whether he call me back is another story) - my hands are tied at this point!
