Ish, I didn't know they could do that without your permission. I don't use their long distance at all. A couple of years ago, when I was spending a long time on long distance between Texas, and Florida, I checked a website called Cognigen.com, and found a really good plan with a company called Capsule Communications. I only pay .049 cents per minute 24/7, and they have a system where, no matter where you are in the US, you can do like a local call, punch in an 800 number, then a code they give you, and talk to anywhere in the US at the same rate. That helps a lot when you are staying in a hotel, or motel. That way the motel cannot charge their huge fees for long distance, and most of them have free local, and 1-800 calling, so you save a bundle. Even though this is not a well known company, I have not had a problem in the 2 years I have been using their service.
