Clint,

Good to see you back. I too visit this site once and a while - although I have not posted recently.

I have been taken shelter in stocks like AVL, SPAR.. I think its getting close to time to buy for long term some old NazDog favorites. Lets see what CSCO says...I am afraid that the CFO may be resigning and the market will reaad too much into it (plus they are not signing off on their financials until September). It will be interesting to see.

Mattie

Yes, Chambers discussion of telco market will be short term pivitol for tech sector. I'm as interested in what he says about stock option plans and using CSCO's cash hoard for other purposes like dividends or massive share buybacks. I'd like to see less agressive (greedy looking) option plans that track performance and aren't adjusted with stock price changes.. and leave the cash hoard alone. When the time comes there's nothing like dollars to exert leverage.

Noticed GLW got taken down on an up day! I thought other operations were supposed to protect that company from the fiber optic backlash.
