len, I really don't have a clue as to when the letter "J" was added to any language, but have seen Mexican friends, both in Texas, and in Mexico, spell them cojones. They don't write that out very often, but have used the word in written, or printed, jokes. Either way, it is not going to disrupt the turning of the Earth on it's axis.

I don't know if the story about the lisping King is true or not, but it is certainly possible. Kings changed a lot of things in their hay-days.
