Ray, Thank you for sharing the response. Strikes me as your friend needs the job more than your friendship, or perhaps your business. All this business of derivatives is extremely hard to comprehend, and as an accountant by original training, I often wonder who understands the proper accounting (income reporting, valuation of underlying assets/liabilities, risk measurement) for these instruments. Yet, the people who manage these investments have been earning millions last year. I've never understood how banks make money in recent years, so have never invested in them...will continue in the same mode. Selva
