I have not read an analysis that compares the average price/cash flow of companies today to those of companies at other market bottoms. Anybody got any stuff on that?

No- I'm looking for it because I think it is important. I know cash flow is much higher now than in the past for the companies doing business on the web. Cash flow analysis available seems to go back to 1994 or so, but nothing before that.

Tom, Ken Fisher does not include actual data to back his assertions about PE. I am just getting started looking for it. I did find a chart of SP500 PE from 1943 to 2001. lowrisk.com

I also found Fisher's paper fmg.lse.ac.uk

Good luck to you.
