Options covered? Do you mean using a bull spread? (Sell the 12 1/2's and buy the 10's at the same time).

At this point I think the biggest error is doing nothing. What I try to do is the following. Write covered calls against 1/3 of my position, Short term trade 1/3, and 1/3 LT/BH..
