I was referring to the formal theory as an example of a decision theory. Irrational is the opposite of rational, meaning "absence of or in contrast to" rationality, as opposed to non-rational, which refers to "not based in reason" That is my understanding of the definitions.

Anyways, I hope you would agree with my conclusion that the Palestinian's political choices have not been rational. I guess we could say they have been both irrational AND non-rational.
