The numbers of options granted especially to senior officers has become excessive.

Yes, you might want to review how it is that options to senior officers became such a large amount. Remember when Congress passed a law capping executive pay at a million? This is when companies started using options as a form of compensation for their top officers. At the time it was heralded as an excellent solution to the excessive compensation levels the officers received and it would align their interests with that of the shareholders and make their pay performance based. It was considered a big problem that officers had no stake in the companies they ran. Ha! The law of unintended consequences strikes again.

Now Congress will probably pass a new law with entirely different unforeseen consequences.
