EVERYBODY's year over year numbers look like crap at this point. We were in the middle of a recession last year. The fact that they have experienced what is now four consecutive quarters of growth is far more compelling

Just to put it in perspective, Cisco sales are 12.35% better than the july qtr 2001. Y/Y comparisons for cisco are down 15%, year ending july01 vs. ye july02 (thats the *really* amazing comparison imo, since this year includes 911).

For example, current estimates for q3 are 287 million versus 213 million last year. That's a 35% increase.

Bob, what happens if those numbers are revised to the down side?
I don't think it is very prudent to use PEG future estimates under these conditions.
So maybe I'm wrong and the smart ones are those buying with an investment plan of a couple, few years out.
