Ted, you post facts and you post your conclusion, but you don't post a logical argument that leads your from the facts to the conclusion.

15 people killed in an attack is routine when you are at war. It isn't some shocking attack that shows that our cause is hopeless or that our strategy is foolish.

Tim, I don't have time to post every incident that's occurred during the past two weeks. Suffice to say, things have heated up over there with fighting in villages, the killing of their VP, confusion over who we are attacking, etc.

Having said all that, I have grown weary of posting facts and logical arguments only to have them invalidated on this thread. Just yesterday, Ray posted that Hollywood paid for the expenses related to Gore's vote recount. When I posted links that show that not to be true......essentially, my post was ignored by Ray. Instead, he responded that I should search for the truth, or some sh*t like that. What a crock........what is the point of presenting facts and/or a logical argument when they can be so easily invalidated, and what's more important is winning and not how you win.

It seems to me that we need to keep this thread honest and reasonable. Last week, I posted something on the mod thread that was wrong, and I ended up having to admit that I was wrong and apologize for it. Did I like it.....no? But I did it......and ate crow in the process. That has to happen here too, or I, for one, will refuse to post with someone who refuses to admit when they are wrong. I don't care what the degree of your loyalty is to a party or to a chip or to a stock.....when you're wrong, you're wrong.....cop to it or get over it.

Having said that, I appreciated your post re the FLA corruption......and I agree, corruption is wrong whether the race is close or not. And complaints that its too hard to stop corruption sounds like just so much whining to me. If we don't want corruption and dishonesty in corporations, then I believe all elements of American life must be free of corruption and dishonesty.

And I will be announcing my candidacy for president shortly! ;~))
