Well said, Lizzie. That's the problem with the pessimists today. They are just getting too carried away. Sure things are bad, but a few years from now they won't be. This isn't the end of capitalism as we know it...it just feels like it at the present time. LOL.

I was pretty young in the 70s, so I don't remember that bear. And the bears that we talk about from 1980 until now seem to be more cyclical bears and therefore not comparable to what we are going through now which I would qualify as a secular bear. I do think that the comparison to 1929 is valid as that bubble wasn't a "tulip" bubble.
