They are just getting too carried away

as unreasonable as this market got at the height of the bubble, that is the potential for unreasonable reaction on the downside.

The pendulum swings.

Sure things are bad, but a few years from now they won't be.

I was going to mention on this thread that cisco is adding some staff for their order management/supply chain infrastructure, now in this climate which is great forward-thinking on their part. Its not like they are throwing money around or anything but most all other companies have slammed the brakes on these infrastructure projects. By doing an implementation now, cisco gets great pricing from the vendors and consultants too. Of course everything could collapse in 2003 and they'll be sorry they spent the money. Still, if you go around expecting the worst then its tough to move forward.
