Again you are not telling the truth. I wrote "shortages" in quotes purposely. You must have missed or overlooked that. Your point about price fixing. HUH. In fact the whole thing was a scam to run independents out of business, which in the second run of that show in 1978 did happen. However, just as the article I posted you says, it was OPEC. It's not a matter of my not letting go. Your recreation of history bothers me. Or maybe you simply forgot. You have succeeded in diverting me from my point which is the fact that gas lines, which will recur because of oil shortages, are disruptive at best. This time, however, there will be riots. People are simply out of control. And they have guns.
