Along came Fox News. People have FLOCKED to it, to where you have weirdness like O'Reilly's sudden rise in the ratings to defeat Larry King Live, a CNN extremist liberal program. In markets that were not controlled by liberals, conservative shows have consistently captured the markets -- for example Limbaugh, Dr. Laura, Mike Reagan, etc., programs with longevity against such programs as Jim Hightower's (extremist liberal, former Texas RR Commissioner) which collapsed. The point being, when given a choice, the people prefer a conservative or more neutral perspective, yet the news media is still dominated by liberalism. Few liberal programs survive the listenership test when you put them to the people.

Once again the facts do not conform with your view of the world. Below is a link that shows viewership at the three major cable channels: CNN, FOX and MSNBC. Viewership at MSNBC and CNN is the equal of that of Fox.

While its clear that Fox's viewership has grown quickly but then again, its the only clearly conservative channel........and we know that you all are starved for honest programming. However, when you throw in the news programs of the non cable major channels, its also clear that the majority of viewers watch what you call liberal news. While the conservative news station is alive and well, it does not predominate even when people are given a choice.

This is NOT a free press. This is propaganda.

Huh? Why don't you save this kind of rhetoric for your cell meetings?
