That said, you missed the point of my earlier post, which was that, where people have a CHOICE, they prefer conservative perspective, yet the news media is dominated by liberal perspective. Why? Because liberals have long ago seized the TV media (starting with the Leftist Walter Cronkite).

First, all conservative viewership is no where close to parity in terms of mainstream or as you put it, liberal viewership. The non cable stations coupled with CNN and MSNBC swamp Fox in terms of viewership.

Secondly, I would not bother with the Feb. viewership totals because that's a sweeps month...while sweeps months are supposed to give commercial advertisers insight into viewership, they have gotten so out of skew in the last couple of years, that they have lost a lot of their value. A better example is the month of January where Fox was slightly behind.

YOU are trying to argue there is not liberal bias. That simply doesn't comport with all the facts that are known to be true.

Bias is rarely based on fact.........that's why its considered a negative quality and isn't given much weight. From your perspective, CNN is liberal......from my perspective its normal. To someone from NYC or Los Angeles, it may be considered conservative.......certainly by European standards, it would be.

More importantly, does CNN tell the true? I think they do 99% of the time...and when they misrepresent the facts, like in the recent Waksal/IMCL case, they make a correction and apologize for their error. I don't see that happening with the conservative media nor do I see a reasonable level of civility in their newscasts. [BTW I had that view well before I knew they were a conservative station.]

Fox newscasters seem harsh and unpolished.....and look to be chasing the story at any cost. But that could well be my bias speaking. I certainly don't have any fact to back it up........I don't know how I would....factually, that is.
