"Nuke 'em" is some idiotic hollywood contrived attempt to caricaturize the military. Those people who you just pigeon holed with a moronic mantra pledged their lives to defend this country. They are the last people to want a war. Soldiers hate war because they are the ones who have to leave their families to go to some God forsaken place and put their lives on the line so people like you can enjoy the fruits of a free country. In my lifetime I have lived in 14 countries on four continents to include a couple islands. I have interacted both on a military, diplomatic and personal level with thousands of non US. I still correspond with a number of them. I hold rational people, regardless of their race, in the highest esteem. It has seldom been the military diplomat who has been tagged with the "ugly American" moniker. Your simplistic description of the issues regarding IRAQ are symptomatic of the far larger problems that face our nation currently. Apathy laced with ignorance. You ask what has that guy in IRAQ done to me and point out in the very next sentence that he has gassed his enemies and their children. That by the way includes our own soldiers and a personal friend who served in Desert Storm. But it isn't about what he has done to me. It is much more about what he is is process of doing and what he further intends to do. Our intelligence is far more sophisticated than your third grade history lesson, chum. We can sit around and watch this mass murderer continue to amass his nuclear and biological weapons to the point of becoming a world menace or "we" can do something about it...That other countries, particularly Europe, do nothing is hardly surprising. They made an art form out of appeasing Adolph Hitler a few generations ago. While it was true that the US interests would not have been served to allow Iran to defeat Iraq, the military effort in that war was negligible and it certainly had no part to play, nor did they have foreknowledge, of the planned use of gas, despite your outrageous insinuation. You have no first hand knowledge of who the US is considering to replace Sadam. Your innuendo and blubbering is, moreover, laced with falsehoods and ignorance throughout. I will be delighted if the threat is dealt with without the life being lost of one single soldier US or Iraqui. Soldiers are either the pawn of men of evil intent or of those resolved to stop them. I know which one is which and am particularly incensed by your flibbertigibbet opinions.
