Dr V ... I much appreciate the nice website about the S&P500 historical information. I can see I'll need to go over there and look around some when I catch some spare time.... it looks very nice. On the question of WLA --- a super nice gent who goes by shanla sent me the complete Edgar report for April 1998 which had the 3/1 split. I had to look up nada .... I did ask him what type of search he performed, as the only thing I had found to do there at Edgar was to read the three year annual reports ..... shanla joined SI way back in 95 but hadn't posted since spring 2000 until last week .... where I met him ... SI has some fine folks .....
