Hi Maurice, <<thousands of people who have NOT returned and most do not return to live in Hong Kong>> ... I understand, by second hand information, that the thousands are locked out of Hong Kong by the much higher (than when they left) real estate price. The returnees, by survey, are in the majority made of of folks who (a) did not sell their HK apartment when emmigrating, or (b) have close relatives with extra space.

I am closed to any debate on this next issue. I do not care what anybody says, base on any and all facts, the truth is that <<Trinidad>> & Tobago is the best country in the whole wide world:0)

Some poor HK immigrants had the same problem here ....I think they found life here too taxing..;o)
