vt, I thought I would fess up:

I never actually stated I'd bought any HOFF, and in reality I didn't. Interested and watching. Until it comes out of its DT channel, I think I'll watch. The way the rest of the service/fab sector in OSX has been beat up bottoms are fleeting. Appears to me this side of the business is reacting to drops or expected drops in CAPEX, which will probably be very slow to rebound. No shortages of gas or oil around, as I see it.

I still own a small holding in CNRD at just slightly over present price. They reported today. Ho Hum.

Should have done better chart work on my initial tech entries. Some were okay but on the net definitely not.

Some interesting comments re HOFF over on Boom Boom thread, you might want to go read. One was about rising receivables, which might bear looking into.

Great show, also read Roger Lowenstein's "When Genius Failed": The Rise and Fall of LTCM.

I'm hypothesizing that big problems arise on this front as interest rates rise AND the USD falls.
